Catering Assistant – Fixed Term Contract
To start as soon as possible – July 2027

£25,614 – £26,016 FTE per annum, pro rata to hours and weeks worked.
15 hours per week (Term Time only)
We are looking for a Catering Assistant to provide daily support in the school kitchen at St Peter’s Elwick CE Primary School. This is a fixed term cover position. The suitable candidate should be enthusiastic, organised and welcoming. The role entails setting up and serving school lunches whilst maintaining a high standard of food hygiene and safe working practices. You will work closely under the supervision of the School Cook.
Experience of working in a school environment is advantageous however not essential for this role.
