Northern Lights Teaching School Hub

We are delighted that one of our schools in Northern Lights Learning Trust was designated as lead school in DfE strategy dedicated to supporting teachers and leaders throughout their careers – the Teaching School Hub programme. As one of the 87 centres of excellence for teacher training and development, Northern Lights Teaching School Hub serves schools across Sunderland, Gateshead and South Tyneside (as well as working out of hub region) providing professional development from ITT through to Executive Leadership. As well as being fully committed to providing the best professional development opportunities, our Teaching School Hub prides itself for the partnerships and collaborative working approaches it has with key strategic partners across the region, including Research Schools, Curriculum Hubs and all schools – Early Years Providers, Primary, Secondary, Alternative Provisions, Special Schools and Higher Education Providers.
