Outdoor Learning

Year 1/2 visited Saltholme as part of their new topic ‘Wriggle and Crawl’. We found all kinds of creepy crawlies when we went fishing in the lake using our nets and we really enjoyed using different outdoor materials to create our own artwork. We had such a good day and learnt so many new and interesting things.

Our caterpillars have finally come out of their cocoons and turned into beautiful butterflies. The Year 1/2 class released them in the outdoor area. 🦋
