Hart and St. Peter’s Elwick are privileged to welcome
Mrs Gabriele Keenaghan.

On Wednesday 11th March 2020 we are very excited to be welcoming Mrs Keenaghan, a survivor of WW2 and the Hitler regime to speak to us of her personal experience of the Kindertransport and her journey from Austria to Britain fleeing Nazi persecution in 1939.

Mrs Keenaghan who is an inspiration to us all was awarded the British Empire Medal for services to Holocaust education in the 2019 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
This is a wonderful opportunity and will be our honour to listen as she shares her amazing and moving story of escape.

We have already had a non-uniform day this half term and did not want to inconvenience parents/carers again so soon. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused, thank you. ... See MoreSee Less
