Dear Families,

Well, that's our first week of the new school year done, and what a fantastic week it has been!

It has been absolutely lovely to see all of our children back in school. The building has been full of smiles, laughter and happy faces and the children have settled brilliantly into their new classes. We have been so impressed with how hard everyone has been working already. We are incredibly proud of them all!

Over the summer, school has had a bit of a glow up too! You may have noticed our freshly painted areas, the newly relaid pathway and our new car park gates. We hope these improvements help make our school environment even better for our children, families and staff.

One of the highlights of the week has been our attendance. We are delighted to report that attendance has reached 96.3%, hitting our school target. Thank you for your support in getting children to school every day and on time. We know how important good attendance is, and we will continue to work closely with families throughout the year to build on this strong start. This will include introducing our Calpol Policy, which aims to support families in getting children into school whenever they are well enough to attend.

We also have lots of exciting opportunities coming up this half term for parents and carers to join us in school. Please keep an eye out for further details about:
☕ Macmillan Coffee Morning – Friday 25th September
📚 Share a Lesson Sessions
🌾 Harvest Festival Celebrations

We love welcoming families into school and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at these events.

A gentle reminder to please park safely and considerately around school when dropping off and collecting children. We kindly ask families not to use the staff car park and to be mindful of our neighbours and other road users. Your cooperation helps keep everyone safe.

Thank you once again for helping us have such a positive start to the year. We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and, with any luck, the sunshine might decide to make an appearance! ☀️

See you on Monday!

Today we bid farewell to our Y6 cohort who absolutely smashed their SATs...we couldn't be more proud of them! As is tradition here at Hart, their legacy will live on as they have all chosen a book to leave in our reading for pleasure 'Legacy Library'! We will be celebrating their time here at Hart in our leavers' service at Hart church. The service begins at 1.45pm and all of our families are warmly welcome. ... See MoreSee Less
