At Hart Primary School we believe that excellent attendance is central to every child\u2019s learning, wellbeing and long\u2011term success. Just as importantly, we believe that children attend well when they feel safe, valued<\/strong> and that they belong<\/strong> within our school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive school culture where pupils want to be in school every day, feel connected<\/strong> to their peers and adults, and understand that they are an important part of our community. Our expectation of 96%+ attendance<\/strong> reflects our belief that every day matters<\/strong> and that attendance is everyone\u2019s responsibility.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance is a key leadership priority at Hart Primary School. We take a proactive and inclusive approach, identifying concerns early and working closely with families to understand and address barriers to attendance. We recognise that absence is can often be a symptom of wider need and respond with appropriate support, ensuring that safeguarding and pupils\u2019 welfare remain central to our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strong, trusting relationships between school and home are at the heart of our approach. By working in partnership with families, listening carefully and removing barriers where possible, we support pupils to be in school, on time, and ready to learn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
