We value all of the children in our school as every one of us is unique and can be a leader. Across our school, there are numerous opportunities for children to become leaders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Junior Leadership Team<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Junior Leadership Team partners with the Senior Leadership Team to assess and improve school practices. Always eager to share their insights, this JLT take an active role in shaping the school’s direction. New Junior Leaders are chosen through an interview process led by SLT and\/or the current team members. As part of a new initiative this year, pupils have been placed into ‘subject areas’ as they have expressed an interest and enthusiasm to represent their area of expertise, and a commitment to support other pupils.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trust Parliament<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Northern Lights Learning Trust pupil parliament representatives work with other elected pupils from both primaries and secondary schools across our Trust to bring about meaningful change to their local area and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creative Arts Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Creative Arts Leaders work alongside our Art and Music Leads in school. They have a passion for all things creative, including drawing, painting, crafting and composing! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Technology Leaders<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Our technology leaders work alongside the school’s computing and D&T teams to manage devices and support safe, effective online learning, and to help set up D&T equipment. They are the go-to experts for students, ensuring that everyone knows how to stay safe in the technology world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n



Personal Development Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Personal Development Leaders are dedicated members of our school community who challenge prejudice and promote equality. They raise awareness and work with charities to combat discrimination in our town. They work alongside SLT and teachers on community meetings, which include links to our British Values, PSHE and RE lessons.

PE Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PE Leaders are trained in leading games and activities to encourage active and social play at break times. They help to take care of the equipment and provide feedback to SLT on what is going well and areas which could be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our English Leaders help to support a love of reading and writing in our school. They are on hand with great recommendations and make sure that are wide book selections is up to date and accessible for all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maths Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our ambassadors promote Maths within school and the wider community. They will learn how to lead pupil workshops and will be involved in some exciting national initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Science Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Science Leaders promote science learning through hands-on experiences. They ensure class environments have opportunities for scientific discovery and work with STEM Ambassadors (visitors) to promote a real love of science in our school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humanities Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Humanities Leaders have a passion for history and geography. They love taking their learning further outside of school and enjoy speaking to visitors about their work. They support pupils in lessons, and help teachers to organise history and geography texts and resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

French Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our French Leaders greet the class every Tuesday for \u2018mardi fran\u00e7ais!\u2019 Every week they learn a new greeting to teach and practice with the class. They support their peers with key knowledge and vocabulary in lessons.

Early Years Safety Officers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being an Early Years Safety Officer is an important job. Their job is to keep themselves, their friends and their classroom safe. They do this by picking things up from the floor, reminding each other of the classroom rules and telling the adults if something is unsafe or broken.
