At Hart Primary we have a culture of vigilance, which is underpinned by robust procedures and driven by \u2018all children have a right to be cared for and protected – protecting them is everyone\u2019s responsibility\u2019. This is strengthened further by our Trust wide 3 Cs \u2013 operational consistency, Trust wide communication and continuous development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As stated above everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. In order to fulfil this responsibility effectively, all professionals should make sure their approach is child-centered. This means that they should consider,\u202fat all times, what is in the best interests of the child.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Staff members working with children are advised to maintain an attitude of \u2018it could happen here\u2019 where safeguarding is concerned. When concerned about the welfare of a child,\u202fstaff members should always act in the best interests of the child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
