Our Christian Vision underpins all aspects of school life, including the St Peter’s Curriculum offer, subject leader visions and pedagogy.

MathsFor children to leave our school as confident, skilled and resilient mathematicians; who understand the fundamental concepts of mathematics and can apply their skills in a wide range of context.
RETo develop knowledge and understanding of religion, religious beliefs and practices, tradition and culture, promoting pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and to prepare all pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of the present and the future. To become courageous advocates for themselves and others.
ScienceA vision for high quality Science education that inspires pupils to and prepares them for, work in scentific industries.
ComputingTo use computational thinking and creativity to understand and change the world. To ensure that pupils become digitally literate and are able to use, express themselves and develop their ideas through information and communication technology, at a level suitable for the future workplace and as active participants in a digital world.
FrenchTo develop a range of vocabulary, a knowledge of French phonemes and an understanding of basic grammar in order to be able to communicate practically, and with enjoyment in French by reading, writing, listening and speaking.
HistoryOur vision is to inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past, to equip pupils to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments, and develop perspective and judgement.
GeographyTo be inquisitive and informed Geographers, to be environmentally aware and to be local and global citizens.
ArtTo develop a well-rounded artist with a depth of subject knowledge, secure skills base and an understanding of the wider artistic world and cultures.
MusicTo engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and to increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement.
RHEWe want all of our pupils to achieve their full potential physically, socially and academically whilst preparing them for a successful future in a multicultural society regardless of their ability, background or ethnicity and can learn to respect themselves and others, as well as taking responsibilty for their own actions. We want our own children to develop healthy, nurturing relationships, know what a healthy relationship looks like and what makes a good friend.
Britsh ValuesWe want our children to know the values that underpin our British society. To be aware of their rights and responsibilities in order to serve their community actively and effectively, know that they have a voice worth hearing and to value and welcome the opinions of others and the ways in which others choose to live.  
PEPositive participation in physical education to build self-esteem, teamwork and positive attitudes in P.E. We aim to: - Develop confidence, skills and knowledge.
DTTo enable children to make sense of the 'made world' in which they live, through applying their substantive and disciplinary knowledge to design soloutions to solve problems, preparing them for work in design industries.
