Predators!

You never know when they are about to catch you! We started our topic with a couple of engage days learning all about the layers of the rainforest as well as making our class room into an exciting rainforest too. We have painted, sketched and read about The Great Kapok tree.

“I think that the layers of the rainforest are really interesting, I did not know anything about them before we started this topic” Esme, Year 4.

“I have enjoyed learning about different animals, predators and prey. The best part so far has been building our mini rainforests. They look great.” Harry, Year 3.

“This topic has really captured the children’s imagination, the learning in our class has been amazing. All of the children have been engaged and I am really proud of their hard work.” Miss Pickles.

Celebrate

We have celebrated our topic of predators by making moving predator toys. We have learnt how to use a glue gun safely and technical names for the moving parts of our toy.
