Bright Lights, Big City
We loved our first day back to school this term. We watched Paddington as part of our Bright Lights, Big City topic. It was really funny! We pretended we were Paddington and wrote postcards to ourselves and Aunt Lucy telling her all about our experiences.
We experimented with different materials to see what was the best material for Paddington’s coat. We made pictograms and interpreted the data after measuring the water that ran off the materials.
“The cotton is not good because it soaks up the water,” said Cody.
“I loved watching the Paddington film. It was funny. We learnt about London too,” said James.
